My HoLy WeEK

This Holy Week the firsts days I was in Madrid.

On Saturday I went with my friends to Gran Vía to see the shops but because we were bored we decided to go to a park that there is near the school and there we phoned other friend that she was in her village and we were speaking with her.

On Monday and Tuesday I was doing various handicrafts for my homework.

On Wednesday in the morning I did my suitcase because I went to the beach.

On Thursday I was sunbathing and walking on the beach with my parents.

But on Friday it wasn’t sunny, it was very windy and raininig so I went to the cinema with my fiends.

On Saturday it was my birthday and everyone congratulated me and gave me a lot of presents.

This afternoon my friends bought me a

cake and sang happy birthday.

Later we toke a lot of photos and on Sunday I did my suitcase again to go back to Madrid.

THE ORIGIN OF THE PIZZA:

The Romans of the old empire were consuming in the 1st century a cooked mass similar to the bread, of circular form, flavoured with herbs and seeds. They had copied this food of the Greeks and of the Etruscans, who were elaborating a cooked mass with flavour.

It was needed fourteen centuries up to the discovery of America in order that the tomato was appearing in Europe. It was brought of Peru. Initially people were considering it to be a toxin or with magic power. Initially the tomato was used for decorating, but with the time people encouraged to eat it, and since then it begins the real history of the pizza. In the beginning, the cheese was not forming a part of the preparation (one was using only tomato, basil and herbs). Its introduction took place in 1889 in the city of Naples.

The queen Margarita had heard speaking about this food and this was because she sent the baker Rafaele Espósito, of the pizzeria " Pietro il pizzaiolo " the order to prepare a pizza for her. The baker wanted to adorn this pizza with the colors of Italy and added the red one of the tomato and the green one of the basil, the white of the mozzarella cheese. He called to his invention " Margarita pizza ".

In The United States it came in 1905, but it became popular at the end of the war, for the diffusion that the soldiers who were returning from Europe gave to it. France has its own rectangular "pisaladière" to the Roman style. Spain, it specializes in pizzas of different and sometimes of unusual fillings. In Middle East bread is " pitta " In China the mass is cooked to the steam, and is served as small pizzetas with different flavours.

THE FOUR FANTASTIC

THE FOUR FANTASTIC:

The four crewmen of the spaceship decided to join together for defending the Earth of evil and in this way, the Four Fantastic were born.

The four fantastic obtained their skills after the space rocket crossed a storm of cosmic rays in their test flight. When they landed in Latacunga the four pasangers of the spaceship discovered that they had been transformed and they had new and strange skills.

Reed Richards: his name is Reed Richards but from he obtained his powers he is better known as Mr. Fantastic.

He can handle his body and stretch it to the length he wishes. He is a scientist and the inventor of a spaceship. He is considered as one of the more intelligent person on the Earth and a super-genius.

Sue Storm: she discovered that the radiation had changed her body and now she could be invisible when she wants. Her powers are:

-She can be invisible whenever she wants.
-She can generate force fields mentally.
-She generates invisible and indestructible fields that she uses as a shield.
-She uses these force fields to hit or to destroy hard things, to contain the fire, the water, the land or people. Also she can use them to move or levitate very heavy objects.

Johnny Store: he is Susan´s brother. He can control the fire, throw fireballs from his body and fly when he turns into Human Torch. His uniform and normal clothes are made of special material that resist the fire.

Ben: he was the most affected in the group. His body changed and he seems a monster done by a material like an orange stone.
His powers are:
-He is very strong and he has superhuman stamina.
-His strength increased during the first years.
-His body can bear extreme temperatures (cold and heat)
-His lungs have more volume than a normal human, he can hold his breath during nine minutes.

MY HOBBIES

I like going shopping with my friends, my mother and my cousin Irene.






I like going out with my friends.

I like going to the cinema and buy popcorns.

I like swimming in the swimming-pool.

(People says that I am going to have scales because I spent a lot of time in the water)

I like playing basketball.

I like reading interesting books.








I like listening music.











I like travelling to other countries.









I like going to the beach in the summer and doing trips with my friends and my family.

An act of solidarity

The Domund:

The nuns of my school and other schools and the priests organise a campaign for collecting money to help 3rd world countries in need.

There are notices of the campaign in the churches.In the parish churches and in religious schools it is given envelopes for contribute money.My school gives to some friends and I orange collecting tins for asking for contributions in the street and in our families.

This campaign lasts around two weeks.When it finished, the money is counted and it is distributed in countries like Congo,Managua,Nicaragua...

The last year all of us collected a lot of money.
